Mia Rivera is an artist and designer whose work bridges narrative depth with refined visual design. Born in New Jersey and shaped by the contrasting environments of suburban life and the dynamic streets of New York City, Rivera’s artistic journey began at a young age and quickly evolved into a lifelong pursuit.

 

She received her BFA in Illustration from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), where she studied under renowned illustrators and immersed herself in New York’s diverse cultural and artistic landscape. Her time at FIT provided a strong technical foundation and cultivated her ability to work across styles and mediums.

 

Rivera’s practice focuses on visual storytelling, bringing clarity and emotional resonance to both private and commercial work. She collaborates closely with art directors, creative teams, and private clients to develop compelling artwork and designs that serve a wide range of audiences and clients. Her versatility allows her to adapt her approach to meet the unique needs of each project, with a consistent goal of producing impactful, concept-driven work.

 

Her artwork has been featured in curated exhibitions around New York City and featured in brand campaigns for the likes of Nike, NBCUniversal and Disney.
